Getting Started
- Download Colorist Tool Kit Pro from the App Store.
- Launch the app and allow camera access when prompted.
- Tap the probe icon to start a live measurement session.
- Point your iPhone camera at the reference patch or display area you want to measure.
Requirements
- iPhone running iOS 16 or later
- A supported reference target or display for calibration work
- Same Wi-Fi network as your desktop when streaming measurements
Troubleshooting
- Measurements do not appear on the desktop: Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network and that the desktop receiver is running.
- Camera preview is dark or frozen: Force-quit the app and relaunch. Ensure camera permissions are enabled in iOS Settings → Colorist Tool Kit Pro → Camera.
- Readings seem unstable: Hold the phone steady and allow a few seconds for the measurement to settle. Avoid reflections and uneven lighting on the target.
- App crashes at launch: Update to the latest iOS version and reinstall the app from the App Store.
